Measured my scrunched foot like the guide said, landed on Medium, fits perfect. Wish I had these two pairs of shoes ago.

Does exactly what it says. Took me a minute to find the right adjustment setting, but once it was dialed I stopped thinking about it.
Measure your foot in inches — not your shoe size. Climbing shoe sizing is inconsistent across brands, and every climber downsizes differently, so a shoe size tells us almost nothing. Small covers 8.6" – 9.6", Medium covers 9.6" – 10.2", Large covers 10.2" – 11.4". Measure standing, heel against a wall, with your toes curled the way they sit inside your climbing shoe: the tree has to fill the shoe, and your shoe is holding a scrunched foot. The size guide walks through it step by step.
Yes. Every size has 3 settings — shortest, middle, longest — so a size is a range, not a fixed length. Set it to what you measured and leave it. If your shoes stretch out over a season, take it up a setting to keep the tension on.
Cedar and aluminum. The cedar pulls moisture and odor out between sessions. The aluminum spine holds the downturn.

Aggressive shoes lose their curve fast. Balled up in a gear bag, the downturn sags and the precision goes with it. Rock Rat is a cedar-and-aluminum tree shaped to your shoe, holding the pitch you paid for between sessions. Less time re-breaking in your shoes. More time on the wall.
